If you can just walk and make 12 miles in 3 hours, great; this video isn't for you.
But if you're like me and you're walking pace is just too slow to make time, give interval runs a try.
I know my pace from experience and doing trial runs with GPS and I know that I need to run for 30 paces and walk for 15 or 30 paces.
The GPS I used is a Foretrex 401, the older uncle of line dog commercial GPS units. amzn.to/2XT2Ucb
It's great because it runs off of AAA batteries and gives you a grid.
It's bad because it doesn't give minutes per mile and it doesn't connect to Garmin Connect.
