Binged all previous eps and now up to date!! So excited to follow this adventure with you after watching your AT vlogs. As an Aussie I dream to get to the US one day for one of these hikes. Does anyone know what type of tent Bigfoot uses? I am a fellow giant and am always on the lookout for tents that I can actually fit in!

You 2 get along great together and like many others have said, lifelong friends after this trip and hopefully future hikes together that we all get to enjoy along with you! Love the channel and keep doing what you're doing because your positivity definitely inspires people!

Fuel Canister Tip: Put it in a freezer ziplock (cut top zipper section off) and stash inside your pot; if it all fits. The ziplock is better than a piece of cloth as it keeps your pot clean. Also corrosion still happens w a damp cloth when used as a rattle barrier. Glad you caught the tear before it was too late. Hike on!!

During the day while your hiking, Can you carry your food in your backpack like you normally would & tie your bear canister empty to the top of U’r pack? Then when you get to camp, put your food back in to the bear canister & store it properly over night. Can you hike with an empty bear canister on the top with all your food inside your pack?

Frozen i hope you see this one/// you know what i wish i had mentioned that a long time ago because yes, that is totally acceptable. food must EITHER be within arms reach while you are awake, or in a canister. darn it i could have let him know. ill remember that thanks for the idea for others.// example my GF and i split our food while hiking and then put it all in the can when we get to camp, but i had not thought about how the weight distro would affect someone like him...

Jason, you probably take two steps for every one of Big Foot’s! lol. I notice these things being a short stride person. And I could not take tuna every night in my Knorr side. Can’t you get chicken? I also really like Stove Top Stuffing with chicken. One of my favorite DIY meals. Just pick up some freezer bags and break it down. If you can pick up butter packs in town, they’re a nice add in. It is truly amazing what you’re doing.

Yes we got a hitch right to Piute well part of the road was closed but we got close. I'm not a purist on this hike like I was with the AT. I really don't care about losing miles on a road walk.
