I’m happy for Jordan Love. Colin tried to bury him in October. 😂😂 Edit: it’s no secret he played poorly in the first half of the season, but to bury him so quickly during his first season as a starter was a bit excessive. However, one thing I appreciate and admire about Colin is that he’s willing to pivot when presented with new information instead of doubling down.

As a realistic Cowboys fan as well, we saw hints of this all season. Not showing up for the Cardinals, 49ers, and Bills and barley beating Seattle and Philly. And like you said, the coaching and play calling. This was bound to happen. Having grown up watching those great Staubach teams and then the 90s teams, this long run of mediocre football has been hard to take. It’s time for Jerry Jones to give up running a country club for athletes and get football people in the organization that can rebuild a winning culture. These failures are not for lack of talent, they are a lack of a winning attitude within the team. Like Michael Irvin said about the team when Johnson got there. A lot of the players are there just to pick up a check every Tuesday, they are not there to win.

As a long time Cowboys fan, I KNEW that this was going to happen and even posted on Skip Bayless KZitem show my prediction last Friday! I made that prediction for five reasons: 1 - EVERY time Cowboys have a HUGE out scoring win as they did against Washington, they get over confident and enter the subsequent game laxadaisical and lay an egg! 2 - I knew that they would take Packers as a cake walk because they barely made playoffs and had first year QB! So because of this, they did NOT prepare for this game as they should and just took it for granted that they would win! 3 - They are just an undisciplined team with noone who lights a fire under their asses as Jimmy Johson use to do! They all think they are safe in Dallas no matter if they lose or win in the playoffs because Jerry loves all of his players to a fault! 4 - Dak is NOT a championship QB and never will be! When things go wrong, he looks like a deer in the headlights! He is a great person and B plus QB, but UNLESS there are all kinds of great players around him which is hard given how much salary cap he takes up, he is not great enough to carry a team to a championship as Mahomes does! 5 - Last but not least, the One and ONLY common denominator for the Cowboys going all the way from the 90s to now without any championship wins is Jerry Jones! QBs and Coaches have come and gone, but they still cannot win post seasons games. Jerry Jones is the ONLY thing that has remained consistent through all that time! His relationship with the players creates a mom says, dad says situation that undermines the HC instilling discipline! Players think they can always go around the HC straight to Jerry! Jerry is Owner, GM, and Senior HC! Any other GM with Jerry's record would have been canned decades ago! But when Jerry is also the owner, he will never fire himself! It was an absolute PATHETIC game and the team just did not show up! Was ashamed of being a Cowboys fan because of that pathetic performance! It is one thing to lose a hard fought game, but the way they played would almost make you think the players bet against the team to make money! I know they didn't but to even think that is because what the HELL was that team that showed up we watched?!!!! The team needs a disciplinarian as HC and Jerry to butt the hell out! Need another Jimmy Johnson ! PS but as a Texan, at least the Houston Texans won and LOVE that fine young man that they have as QB! I may decide to transfer to the Texans from the Cowboys because with Jerry nothing ever changes!

I am a Cowboy fan, but that's just loyalty to a uniform. What's hard about seeing this is that I really had come to like McCarthy and to like Dak and to like CeeDee Lamb and to like Micah Parsons. The personalities were interesting and compelling, and I was rooting for the people that made up the team. But, clearly, this is the end of their short lived era, and it's time to move on, and I won't have much interest if they don't. Sadly, a lot of the problem is that Jerry World is show business and Jerry's ego, and that's not a culture they can really overcome, i don't think. Jerry likes his job as GM and he likes glitz more than he likes Super Bowl wins, no matter what he says.

Cowboys fans here for 44 years and ever since he let go of Jimmy I knew it was the beginning of the end. I just didn't think it would actually happen. Jerry lives a life of glamour, eats at the top restaurants, etc. As soon as he took the title as GM, I knew it wasn't going to work. A GM is hard-nosed, almost blue collar or at least gets it, treads on danger carefully and avoids immature mishaps where another without the life would miss. Today was the last straw for me...but man I like this team so much... probably..no, I'm sure, I like the team more than Jerry. We as fans deserve better. We are being manipulated.

I think Jerruh probably fired McCarthy before he made it to his car in the parking lot. Sadly, this is mostly Jerruh’s fault.
