Very rarely I comment in here but had to. You are hardcore af! Love your gear, most "minimalism gurus" are just posh wannabes, your sock-filled shoulder straps and using your quilt as a jacket is some gangster shit. Good stuff bro

thank you so much for this video! I travel a lot and at age 69, too old to carry a big pack. Trying to reduce things down. Your video really helped a lot, thank you. You helped me rid myself of the fear of carrying clothes as they are heavy. I followed your reasoning with three of things and wow, works great!! I would like to know more about your pack bivy but the link is bad...

Think the idea with the hiking sign and packaging tape was ingenious. Have you found the perfect size to make the sign?
@HoboLifestyle
2 жыл бұрын
I may make a bigger one the next time, maybe as big a 1 foot by 3 feet, that still folds up of course.
@MultiAnkr

Will soon make the sign. Can I ask how many layers of packaging tape is necessary for it to hold up well enough??? Do you repair it a bit as you go?

You didn't mention any stove. I think you were using some tiny alcohol one at some point. Do you still carry something like this, or you switched to cooking directly on a campfire / someone elses stove? ;)
@HoboLifestyle
2 жыл бұрын
I've switched to just campfire or eating foods that don't need to be cooked. It's worked out pretty well.

I went to Thailand and I only brought it backpack. Had like five shirts five pants five of everything but I probably could have gotten away with two of everything because my clothes got washed every single day

How do you sew myog without a machine? Also how do you make money?
@HoboLifestyle
2 жыл бұрын
I use whatever machines are available when I visit people, usually pretty basic, but gets the job done. My expenses are low and sometimes I'm pretty broke, but I've done dozens of things for money, like selling the BivyPack I designed, working harvests, and random odd jobs altogether.

@@HoboLifestyle Thanks for the reply. Keep up the great work. Where do you keep your passport and do you have trouble with international travel/visas, etc.?
@HoboLifestyle
2 жыл бұрын
@@turkeyphant Passport is either in my pocket or in my bag, just depends where I'm at. A lot of visas are pretty straightforward, you can just show up for 90 days. Others you gotta do a little paperwork or hoop jumping.

All that electronics, got a solar or hand charger?
@HoboLifestyle
2 жыл бұрын
Nope. Long time ago I had a solar charger, but I found that I'm usually frequently around power outlets, and when I'm not, I'm usually not using the electronics as much.
