I’m a vegan but I think hunting is so much kinder than corporate farming. The animals have a great life and then boom it’s over. The meat is much healthier too. Pretty cool mule and your horses are amazing.

Meanwhile our horses are freaking out while walking past a dead cow or pig on the side of the road. They are normally covered under something but sometimes a leg sticks out. Even if they just smell it, they find it not fun at all😂

As much fun as that was, I gotta ask, when do we get to see you guys catch that runaway Mustang mare? I got an idea that involves that "chute" you tried to use. How about at least 2 riders at each end and at least 3 on each fence side, all carrying loops ready and moving to cut off each escape attempt? In Jurassic Park times, my farrier said "Mustangs are horse times 5." My little lady and that mare have proven that true! Good Luck!

Great footage, always fun to see elk being elk on camera. Judging by the size of those bulls, I probably only need 10 more bonus points to draw a unit like that....... Also interesting to see how others pack out wild game. I grew up cutting the legs off at the hocks and the knees, and only putting one set of quarters on an animal, loaded hide against hide. Props to Red for packing the whole thing out in one load.

I have to ask, if youre hunting for the biggest bulls, how do you make sure theres still good genetics running around for next season? Is there any way to know if theyve mated by the time you take them down? It sounds counterproductive to cull all the big studs and leave the smaller, weaker ones to reproduce, but then again im asking because im not so educated in hunting ^^

Pushing elk back to to hunters or "Bird Dogging" the elk... "how much do you charge?1?)... I could use a guy willing to do that! I'd also agree maties will hold it all together, help with weather and save your gear Canvas Cutters from getting destroyed by the terrain while packing in and out. I've packed out many bulls and we tie down with antlers over the back and stick or sometime even hang... Noticed that the sideways method worked for you ... question I'd ask is did it ever get the back antler and is it possible to get hooked on branch or tree while horese keeps going forward and pull off into a wreck? KZitem videos are out there see what to do. Your great attitude of "Can Do" will make up the rest and most of time will out do any other method. Keep the videos coming. I enjoy the channel.
