I was a Catholic for 63 years. Jesus saves my life when I was in need of a liver and in a nine day coma. I was in kidney and liver failure and my family was told to make my funeral arrangements! I did not die and my liver was brand new when I went to get a check up a month later. Jesus then came to me and told me he saved me because he loves me and was going to use me in his End Days. I had no idea what he meant! He told me to research the Catholic Church and once I did I became a Born Again Christian! I ran from that church as fast as I could!💖

I'd love to hear about when he came to you. Its amazing on all the miracles of how people are opening their eyes now. It's scary knowing how close we are. It's not scary we are coming to the end times. Just scary because of wanting to make sure I learn as much as possible so I can teach my children and pray they be disciples. I pray I am pulled and places on jesus side at the beginning. But hope I can stay obedient to his word. My faith may not budge but sometimes due to my old habits I may say or act on something without thinking. So I'm still in my training phase. But my son already catches on and sometimes reminds me. Usually it's to remove the bacon out of a chicken sandwich. I'm so proud because he's only 6 and has just started 2 weeks ago. And is following everything he learns of what God asks of us.

@Vinyl Aesthetic So you don't think that the saturnalia celebration that you all engage in every December is pagan? How about mummifying the pope's bodies when they die? Or singing song praising lucifer? You don't think those things are pagan? Where does the bible say to put crosses of ash upside down on your foreheads? Or to make that silly upside-down cross motion with your hand? And on to bigger issues, Where does it say ANYWHERE in the Bible from cover to cover to pray to Mary or ANYONE other than YHWH (GOD)? Where does the Bible say that any man other than the Messiah can forgive sins unto salvation? Those "priest" are not without sin ergo they do not have the authority or right to bring anyone else to a sin free state. These are not things that are passed on by anyone, these are things that are readily seen directly in the catholic church system. And that's a FACT! What about all of the literal skeletons that your venerated catholic priest have used to decorate their "church" buildings? Those are things that death worshipers do. And the fact that the catholic killed anyone actually doing what the bible said to do back in the dark ages? i could literally write volumes on all of the paganism that makes up the catholic Babylonian system, but i have made my point. Feel free to not comment again until you actually search out Scripture and history and find out how evil the devils catholic organization is.

Hi. I have a question, it is not meant to be confrontational at all, I'm very curious about this - the most important one is about the communion, the Eucharist, observance of the Lord''s supper, I'm not sure what you guys call it - so, do you observe it or not; if you do, then how do you do it and if not - why, and do you consider it to be a salvational issue at all? My other question would be related to your worship service, on Saturdays right? I am curious, I've been looking into this lately and would like to know how does it look like? Thank you and Gob bess you

Yes Zachary, many of us celebrated these pagan holidays, however, the church can no longer pretend to be ignorant. Those who have had their eyes opened have witnessed to their ex-churches, Pastors, and friends. Unfortunately, because they have raised the younger children to continue these practices. Those who preach from the pulpit will not stop for fear of rejection which may cause families to leave the church in search for another. They would rather give excuses to celebrate these pagan holidays with a Christian perspective. Just like the two or maybe even the three major holidays Christians will NOT give up. That is, Easter, Halloween, and Christmas. 🙏

@Eric Forrest but you do offend YHWH with your way of thinking. The same way you offend those of us who worship God on these what are not pagan days to us but holy days. Why do you fail to understand that we don't celebrate then because they are pagan but because they are a tribute the God Almighty. Only the Devil would be opposed to celebrating the Birth of Jesus his life death and resurrection no matter what day it is. God knows how to turn all bad things to work for good. Do you not remember what the Lord said? Whoever is not against us is for us. What he told Judas Iscariot when he said did you know that this oil could have been sold for money why do you let her waste it like that? Jesus said do you really care for the poor Judas. Judas answered what are we if not poor? Jesus answered do not here begrudge me of this oil. For the poor you will always have but me you will not. This can be taken as a way of understanding that we can't begrudge Jesus of the moment of worship he's entitled to no matter when it is. I am a believer and I don't observe those days because they are pagan but because they are now holy. Only an evil hateful would begrudge Jesus of the oil or are you like Judas Iscariot?

The adversary is most clever. He lost the battle of Jerusalem 2000 years ago, so he had to find a way to thwart The Way. Having been lived out by our Creator, proper obedience became undeniable. It was no longer merely spoken and written by God, but lived by God Himself. So he called up old ways that were forbidden, MIXING His Way with the ways of the empires of the world. Indeed, there is nothing new “under the sun.” The only escape from the sun is The Son and His Way.

Jews would take ashes and pour it on themselves as a symbol of mourning... Ashes had many meanings... It also symbolized that we are dust and to dust we will return... it was reminder of this fact... a repentant sinner according to Jewish custom would wear sackcloth and put ashes on their heads... Some meanings actually stem from Judaisms beautiful profound and varied customs/traditions... The apostle Paul when discussing woman & men in the church said that some of the rules he was giving were according to TRADITIONS/Customs not God "we know no other custom" in regards to womans hair... so some things are due to customs & traditions not just Gods rules according to Paul that is.

Last night my church had their Wednesday night Bible study. We are a very small gathering who meet in the conference room in the back of a coffee shop. Last Spring we broke away from the United Methodist Church and started a non-denomination. I didn't go last night. I was tired and not feeling up to it. Later that I night I got on Facebook and my Pastor posted 2 pictures. One was a headshot of him with the ash cross on his forehead. The other was a shot of the people sitting at the table with the ash cross. His head shot looked hideous as he used some weird filter that made it look sort of black and white. If this isn't an example of disfiguring your face so that you appear unto men to fast then I don't know what is. This is his Facebook page for all to see. His comment to go with it was : "Proud to say that I am a Jesus freak ... and, yes, I have something to give up for Lent and after ..." I told him if I would have been there I would have walked out. I posted your video on my page with a comment: "Here is a short video explaining (Biblically) why I don't observe ash Wednesday or lent." I'm considering telling him that if he plans on doing this again next year then I'm leaving the church. Here is the pic.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=2407812859251273&set=a.102420099790572&type=3&theater

Greg.I left the church system almost a year ago because wherever I tried they were all the same and I felt spiritually dead each time I attended. I am happier now studying and building a relationship with God but it's a lonely road because I miss the fellowship of other believers. My family are not saved yet and I continue to pray for them. Sounds like your set up is a good thing for fellowship but I think anything to do with tradition and rituals is not good and will leed back to the very thing we should be avoiding as followers of Christ. Your man there looks pretty freaky with that ash on his head and that alone should make you run from them. I believe we should be striving for obedience and pagan holidays and rituals are not pleasing to the Father. Anyway God bless you in your walk with Him and thx for sharing.

The only question. I want to understand how Easter is celebrating the Equinox. Yet the Equinox is in March and Easter is the celebration of the Rising of Christ in April?
@lynellethompson5521
5 жыл бұрын
Easter, Ishtar, Ashtorath, and yes they are all names for the same celebration are a spring fertility Festival that are just evil!! They involve, among other evil things, infant sacrifice and then dying eggs in the blood of the sacrificed infants to the fertility goddess Ashtorath/Istar/Easter. If you have read your Bible you will recognize the name Ashtorath as being an idol that Israel was specifically told by God not to worship. The good Kings of Israel tore down the pagan alters and the bad Kings did not. God considers idolatry to be an abomination, and believers in God and Jesus are specifically instructed not to follow these pagan practices. Anything referencing Easter in the English New Testament are a translation error that you cannot find in Hebrew for sure and it probably is not in the Greek either. Also Jesus told his disciples to remember him in celebrating the Passover. He was the last Passover lamb and we are redeemed by his blood.

The reason Gentile Christians (as opposed to Jewish Christians like the Apostles and the first century church in Jerusalem) don't practice Jewish customs or keep Jewish holidays is because of the decision made at the Council of Jerusalem that is in Scripture. Gentile believers did not have to keep the Jewish laws and customs to believe in Christ and be part of the Christian movement. Please read your Bible!

There is a BIG difference between Jewish Customs and the Commandments. This is why in Mark 7:7-8 our Messiah spells out the difference between the "Traditions of MEN" and the "Commandments of God" Ash Wednesday was invented by men. Jewish customs and Catholic customs....all traditions of men. The Messiah and prophets all had the same message, Repent, turn BACK to the Commandments of God. That is the gospel! Mark 1:15

The eggs link to Ishtar worship. The original dye was baby's blood. Some eastern Orthodox still to the blood red eggs, to represent Christ's blood. 😱🤢 It was a fertility ritual. Ishtar also supposedly arrived by egg and her first order of business was to transform a bird into a bunny and it still laid eggs. Ishtar was the wife of Tammuz, who is honored by Lent. You were to mourn him one day per year of his life. Christians think it links to the forty days of Jesus in the wilderness or the forty years of the Jews in the desert. Nope. Tammuz was the son and supposed reincarnation of his father... Nimrod. He's actually the prototype of the Antichrist.

If more people will be more willing to study the Word of Elohim. We would not need guys you like trying to explain these pagan ways. And yes was one of those who did the same things. It never seemed right to me. Why do the church's like the one I went to. Practice those pagan when they say that they not the Catholic faith? I started reading on my own that's why I don't go to church on Sunday. God bless you. Thank you.

Ive never seen people who push hebrew roots address Hebrews 8. New (2nd) Covenant is between God & Christians, Old (1st)Covenant is between God & Jews. I am not a Jew so why are we throwing away the New Covenant to maintain Hebrew customs. Do this in memory of me... Jesus' feast. Philippians 3:1-11 Finally, my brethren, rejoice in the Lord. For me to write the same things to you is not tedious, but for you it is safe. 2 Beware of dogs, beware of evil workers, beware of the mutilation! 3 For we are the circumcision, who worship God in the Spirit, rejoice in Christ Jesus, and have no confidence in the flesh, 4 though I also might have confidence in the flesh. If anyone else thinks he may have confidence in the flesh, I more so: 5 circumcised the eighth day, of the stock of Israel, of the tribe of Benjamin, a Hebrew of the Hebrews; concerning the law, a Pharisee; 6 concerning zeal, persecuting the church; concerning the righteousness which is in the law, blameless. 7 But what things were gain to me, these I have counted loss for Christ. 8 Yet indeed I also count all things loss for the excellence of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord, for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and count them as rubbish, that I may gain Christ 9 and be found in Him, not having my own righteousness, which is from the law, but that which is through faith in Christ, the righteousness which is from God by faith; 10 that I may know Him and the power of His resurrection, and the fellowship of His sufferings, being conformed to His death, 11 if, by any means, I may attain to the resurrection from the dead.

Hebrews addresses the change in the covenant with the priesthood. It emphasizes that we have a Great High Priest in the order of Melchelzidek. It is not referring to a "new covenant".

@@sweetbamabelle um.. yes.. it exactly says that.. This isnt Islam.. it means what it says... its talking about the 1st covenant with Moses being replaced by Jesus. Are you saying there is no 2nd covenant through the blood of Jesus Christ? Whats the point of Hebrew feast to Christians that were not given these by the only knowable aspect of God that ever existed.. the Son of Man? God writes the law on your heart via born again and the Holy Spirit. Does not mean 10 commandment go away. The commandment of the "I AM"..LOVE.. covers them all & is written on your heart with the Holy Spirit when you repent and r born again through water with the blood of Jesus. So powerful, so awesome, so all encompassing. Now this is the main point of the things we are saying: We have such a High Priest, who is seated at the right hand of the throne of the Majesty in the heavens, 2 a Minister of the sanctuary and of the true tabernacle which the Lord erected, and not man. 3 For every high priest is appointed to offer both gifts and sacrifices. Therefore it is necessary that this One also have something to offer. 4 For if He were on earth, He would not be a priest, since there are priests who offer the gifts according to the law; 5 who serve the copy and shadow of the heavenly things, as Moses was divinely instructed when he was about to make the tabernacle. For He said, “See that you make all things according to the pattern shown you on the mountain.” 6 But now He has obtained a more excellent ministry, inasmuch as He is also Mediator of a better covenant, which was established on better promises. 7 For if that first covenant had been faultless, then no place would have been sought for a second. 8 Because finding fault with them, He says: “Behold, the days are coming, says the Lord, when I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah- 9 not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day when I took them by the hand to lead them out of the land of Egypt; because they did not continue in My covenant, and I disregarded them, says the Lord. 10 For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, says the Lord: I will put My laws in their mind and write them on their hearts; and I will be their God, and they shall be My people. 11 None of them shall teach his neighbor, and none his brother, saying, ‘Know the Lord,’ for all shall know Me, from the least of them to the greatest of them. 12 For I will be merciful to their unrighteousness, and their sins and their lawless deeds I will remember no more.” (Jeremiah 31:31) 13 In that He says, “A new covenant,” He has made the first obsolete. Now what is becoming obsolete and growing old is ready to vanish away It goes on after describing the earthly sanctuary and the limitations of earthly services... 9:15 15 And for this reason He is the Mediator of the new covenant, by means of death, for the redemption of the transgressions under the first covenant, that those who are called may receive the promise of the eternal inheritance. In the end tho, we should not be so wrapped up in these earthly things and traditions because our redeemer has come to show us the way through him & his WORD is the only way to God and salvation. Someone is not going to hell for not eating meat of Fridays any more than being saved means following hebrew feast. Jesus told us how to be saved in RED LETTERS.. lets trust HIM. The tendency of man is to over complicate things. Through Love & the grace of Jesus Christ I AM redeemed & sanctified. :)

NWO Watchdog, please read Matthew 5:17-20 the words of Yeshua Messiah (Jesus). Also the disciples kept and taught from Torah and the Prophets. They quote Torah and the Prophets in their teachings. How do you think you can understand anything without reading the whole Bible?? We are also instructed to keep the Feasts of the Lord including Sabbath. These are HaShems' (God's) Feasts. If you say you believe in God and Jesus then why is it such an issue to do what they say?? Why would you want to follow in the ways of something we are told in the Holy Scriptures NOT to do??

@@lynellethompson5521 Of course I am not saying we throw out the old covenant but Jesus as he says there in those verses, came to fulfill it as he did in life by being a perfect example of a sinless life via the ten commandments. Jesus goes on to define God's law not simply in terms of how people behave but in terms of who they really are (5:21-48). An amendment to the law? I think there are 38 commands that Jesus lays out in his ministry as he says "If ye love me, keep my commandments," (John 14:15). I was just listening to a good portion of the Bible over the weekend and it talks frequently of the new covenant replacing the old which passes away in Acts, Romans 1&2 Corinthians all the way through Hebrews. Where do u find that we should keep the feast? Jesus came already and the feast are over when born again in Jesus Christ and filled with the Holy Spirit cause Jesus is enough.. Alpha & Omega, the prize. His feast is" do this in memory of me" as far as I read. 2 Corinthians 3 off the top of my head is just one of the many verses of new covenant. I LOVE the app that u can just listen to throughout the day to increase knowledge of the Whole Torah. Do I think its a sin to celebrate the feast? I dont think so but there is so much talk about the old ways passing away and being with the Spirit of God. Thanks for the comment! Good Luck and God Bless Ms Thompson!

@@lynellethompson5521 I would be happy to share the chapters with u but maybe its a good time to reread or listen to the aforementioned books b/c it goes so far as almost scolding the Jews for doing the rituals because Jesus had come and he is all you need. Be born again in Christ and the Holy Spirit and not doing rituals to build up favors with God because he already has shown the way and issued commands he knows we will fall short of but wants us to be perfect. Commands like... "When you stand praying, forgive", "You must be born again" "Remain in Me and I will remain in you" "Let your light shine before men" "Settle matters quickly with your adversary" "Get rid of whatever causes you to sin" "Do Not Swear at All" "Giving More than is Demanded" "Love Your Enemies" "Give to Please God, Not to be Seen" "Do not Store up Treasures on Earth" "Place God First" "Guard what is Sacred" "Ask, Seek, and Knock" "Care for Those in Distress" "Enter Through the Narrow Gate" "Watch out for false prophets" "Exercise Spiritual Power" "Do not Exalt Yourself" "Have Complete Faith in God" "Love One Another" "Do this in Remembrance of Me" "Be Merciful" "Go and Make Disciples of All Nations, Baptizing Them" etc etc.

PennsyltuckyPatriot Yeah, concerned! We all look up to Zack. His teachings bring us understanding. So when he or any other true believer sports pagan wear as he teaches about pagan worship we should be concerned what message is he putting out. Personally I think it is just an unconscious mistake and brought to his attention. As far as what do I or Lois thinks will happen, probably the same that would happen with celebrating Easter or Christmas. The truth is we will be accountable in the end. So what we do and teach others fall on our own shoulders. We better be concerned!

I don't pray to the dead. I don't display a decrepit image of Jesus on a cross. I don't believe in holy water. I don't believe one needs to be water baptized to enter Heaven. I don't believe that Holy Eucharist is necessary for salvation. I don't believe in the Seven Sacraments. I don't believe the Pope is anything special, he's a sinner like anyone else. I don't believe in the Rosary. CATHOLICS ARE NOT CHRISTIANS!

Yes, Christianity redeemed pagan celebrations! Dude, Christianity is about redemption! Your wrong and proof texted so many things Where do I begin? the Disciples DID keep Rez day -every Sunday,! They moved worship from Saturday to Sunday or was that because of the sun god too. Eggs are part of Resurrection Day celebrations for two reasons 1. After eggs are forbidden for 40 days you have a ton collected and all of the sudden they are edible beginning on Rez day. An agro guy would know that. 2. Eggs are used in Passover celebrations. I dont have time for this.

Elul is in the fall leading up to the Day of Atonement aka Yom Kippur. In the Messianic Church we do keep this practice. We are instructed in the Holy Scriptures to keep the Feasts of the Lord. Also please read Matthew 5:17-20. "Do not think that I came to abolish the Torah or the Prophets! I did not come to abolish, but to fulfill. Amen, I tell you, until heaven and earth pass away, not the smallest letter or serif (iota or stoke) shall ever pass away from the Torah until all things come to pass..." These are the words of Yeshua Messiah (Jesus). He is telling us to follow the instructions of HaShem (God). Both HaShem (God) and Yeshua Messiah (Jesus) trumph over the words of man, specifically Constantine, or any other teaching of man that does not come from HaShem (God). And it does not matter what you think or what something means to you. Neither you or any man gets to make up their own rules, sorry.
