Interesting how many similarities there are to the druids and yogis/ mystics of the himalaya, where mysticism is just science. Not mythology or non fiction. I have heard that the Tuatha are mentioned in old Indian texts.

I'm fascinated by this topic too. I've been to India a few times and studied the Bhagavad Gita and some of the other texts. The linguistic parallels are also astounding (arra = arya, breitheamh = brahmin, govinda = white cow, bó fhinne = white cow. I believe we can look to Hinduism to fill in some of the gaps - in an educated way. Manchán Magan talks about some of this in his book 32 Words for Field.

The druids where also based in Wales, Anglesey was their main place, today it's called Holyhead this was where the Romans went to battle with them and wipe out their influence over the Ancient British tribes.

Ones who are like the druids do exist now. Some even declare they are druids. They are not the same as your conmen and tricksters, trying to rake in money. They are recognised and understood by those who are not simple minded.

How did the druids keep white robes white in those days ; its hard enough today 🤷♂️

If they were made of linen, they could lay it out in the sun to bleach naturally. But also considering their high status, they likely got new robes regularly. That is, assuming they did in fact wear white robes at all!

…. Except women were also druids because Pegan laws treated women as equals with rights… they not only went to war with men, they also believed women should be equally as educated.

Everyone was "pagan" at the time. Roman empire were all "pagans" until one of their emperors decided to stop burning Chriatians and made his own version of the bible. Yet apparently it was just folk here that were "pagan" Its a dismissive term that tells you nothing.

In my opinion hags were so beautiful with the druids in there presence they all shared and kept each other safe.hags also were taught to swim like a dolphin and we're thought of like a Ocean maid with a knife in her underwear to take over drunkards ships the young beautiful women hag would slice there throats and take the drunkards ships and all there goods becouse they were drunk and slow

The hags were beautiful when they were young as virgens.they were protect by some druids.they were the druids beautiful women but some were maids .who would stay home with weapons to take care of there homes while they went off into the sea for fish crabs lobsters .as of today some people are nice and some are evil .but the young beauty hags were trained by the druids to fight for the lives and to protect the ones that were raped by the ocean people

So pagans already worshipped mother nature (God) such as the natural water wells but then the jews sent their middle eastern missionaries to convert them to worship some jew named jesus who taught them to be submissive and give up everything they ever fought for... Brilliant strategy by the jews i must admit

Alternatively. The pagan Celts were the lost tribes of Israel , the Diaspora, hence the striking similarities in culture language and customs. Paganised Israelites ( not today's Jews) Start your research with the lost tribe of Dan in Europe(Tuath de Dannan) if interested.

@@pede8889 That's "Tribe of Danu" (Female) not "Tribe of Dan". Gaelic is an Indo European language, Hebrew is a Semitic language. They are mutually unintelligible.

I like some of the historical information in the video but the clear bias against and dismissal of contemporary pagans practitioners in this video (i.e. referring to people who choose to seek guidance from a diviner today being referred to as 'simple minded') it's really degrading and mean spirited. I had to dislike the video and couldn't finish the rest of it because of this. Very sad.
