Hi Paul, that tuner app on my tablet is called Tonal Energy (TE). I still can't figure out how to use all its functions, haha.

@@violynnkuo Thank's Lynn, I'm working on a song where I wish I could adjust the beats on the metronome that you hear. I think you mentioned this in the lesson about pulse.

@@Soundgear4 You can do this in Tonal Energy, I believe.

Hi Eric, yes I designed this Challenge to be applicable to ALL string repertoire and technique. I even had an adult beginner take this Paganini Challenge (she literally was playing Suzuki Book 1 pieces) and she was able to work up to a slow ricochet using the principles in this Paganini Challenge tutorial series!

Curious if this series could translate to cello at least for some aspects? Obviously not the fingering and perhaps not the rapid passagework but other elements of overall string instrument technique in general?
@violynnkuo

Yes, 100%, Jonathan! I've learned a lot in masterclasses with cellists so yes, absolutely. One can always pick up valuable insights, even from disciplines that are not even remotely related to music. :)

@@violynnkuo Fantastic, and I agree with that sentiment - I learn many insights for music from not only other instruments but also other arts, philosophy, writing, math and science etc :) I look forward to watching through the videos and picking up some new ideas. Cheers!

OK. So, I listened through once. Saw how inadequate I am and now I need to get the violin from the cab of the truck where it’s cooking, tune to your note 441hz? 431? I thought the 440 was the frequency that makes humans obey the new world order without question and that we were to start using 432hz to resonate with God and TRUTH and come to the realization that we ARE NOT on a spinning oblate spheroid hurling through space but Lynn can sit there sipping tea and not spill a drop despite hurling through the universe and spinning and orbiting … Where am Ingoing with this…? Oh, yeah, I’m going to get my violin and try and execute the samples in the physical. When you whip through the runs like you do it’s like the most aroused I’ve been in decades. Impressive!!

Thanks for watching, Daniel! But don't let your violin cook in the cab of your truck, haha! 🥵

@@violynnkuo oh, it’s two hours later and I forgot to get it! I bring it with me when I irrigate and almost never get a chance to play it! Better to leave it at home than let it 🧑🍳 cook.

@@violynnkuo I rescued it. It was buried under two guitars and a bunch of books so hopefully it’ll be ok. Not sure about the guitars but one’s a $6 (from the rummage sale) Disney guitar and the other a cheap one I have for beating around. (My favorite guitar I played under the shade of some willow bushes and when it was time to go back to work I forgot that I’d leaned it against the front of the truck and I drove over it. Thought it was a lawn chair and went to investigate what the sound was, “Well look at that!” I said, “I just drove over my favorite guitar! There’s a story for the grandchildren that I want but I’ll never have.” 🤨
