That’s a beautiful journal you’re making. The cut edge with the torn paper edge layered behind is so pretty. I have done the hearts down the edge, not quite like yours, the layered paper makes a sweet surprise there too. I hardly ever think of napkins. Though I did make a journal card with a plain brown restaurant napkin, when you handed out the numbers for the journal bingo! That’s a handy tool to spark ideas by the way! Have a great day!

@@Suesjournaladventures I use my kids birthdays or special days... for years that are higher than 25... I split the number. So, for 87 I choose 8 &7 in my daughters bday, her date is 5-7-87 , so the duplicate -7- becomes 19...So say you have an older bday, like me 4-26-65 I would drop a 6 and use 4-2-6-5 I mix it up!

Wow. I love the butterflies on the edge. Didn't saw this before. Tip: Don't buy a new stamping pad if not had its pigments woke up with sprits of water (distilled or with a tad of glycerine to prevent mold) . Especially the oxides will least much much longer if you do so. Even then get yourself the complementing spray (double use for the splattering and on) until you really need to replace a fussy pad. Ranger pads are so rich packed with pigments they last on for years. Not sponsored. Empty handdesinfection sprays are good for it. Every diffusing spray you can open and close will do. Recycle. ❤

Thank you for that tip🤗🤗🤗 I got the second one cheap that’s why I have two but it’s good to know about the glycerine tip, I’ve seen others just using water. 🤗🤗🤗

I don’t have butterfly stamps and I’m really curious what would happen if you stamped the second butterfly over the first butterfly. (Scrap paper trial). Because the second one wasn’t as detailed, I’m just curious. And also using black and brown and then reversing. Maybe you could do a sample and show it in a vid? Nothing like asking for favors, huh?❤

@@Suesjournaladventures oh, you know, I had been thinking of using one of those alignment stamping tools. I have seen someone make one from home, but don’t recall who or what video. I figure I don’t do enough to warrant purchasing one of those. It would go with other purchases waiting in line to be used. Ha.

The doiley …. I sprayed coffee onto a normal copier paper, placed stencil on top, spritz with coffee again then place doily on top. Take it off straight away and you have the pattern 🤗 will do a video at some point 🤗❤️

@@Suesjournaladventures ahhhh. I kinda wondered about “painting” with the coffee/tea over a stencil. It’s nicely done!! ❣️
@@Suesjournaladventures where did my reply go? I wondered about “painting” w coffee/tea and a stencil. I have seen where you demo dying paper but I think they were colors and not coffee/tea. I tried tea dying at the beginning of my junk journal journey, but they turned out sort of dirty looking. And I guess because of the black tea they have a different appearance. Do you spray dye your coffee dyed papers typically?
