First time I learned about this was 8 years ago. I was playing at a guy's house who had the next layout in his yard. Multiple teams came to play there. Had the pleasure of playing with an ex Chicago Aftershock player. He kept doing this to me. I didn't understand what was happening. When he told me it blew my mind. Really put the skill gap in perspective.

Great video! Especially liked the cameo at 10:07 in the background lol. One request for a future video would be to show how a pit or support crew should operate efficiently during tournaments. I realize it will be quite different from a local 3-man tourney to a pro NXL tourney, but just the basics of how many people we should expect to help, what they should focus their time on, what we need to bring. Like water, tools, chairs, or other things we might not think of. Thanks again!

Where I play it always a blind layout. It really shows you who the good players are when you shoot bounce shots first game.

Bouncing is not a hard science, it's an art form, but can really show the skill ceiling of pro paintball

I like that way of thinking of it! Bounces really are an art.

would be nice to shoot a hopper or two in different configurations to see how exactly balls will fall. You know, to camera a little in angle between the target bunker and the bounce bunker, so we can see splashes on the target. Great video THX you!

What’s your least favorite thing about the original prime (not XTS)
@howtoplaypaintball
3 жыл бұрын
There was an issue with earlier primes that you needed to tighten the bolt more so it didn’t back out a little and make the back cap not come up when you were going to clean it. I haven’t had that issue at all since having the new xts but the bolt system is the same so they must have fixed it across all the platforms.

Have you every been in a situation where you’re trying to use a bounce shot against your mirror and they were doing the same to you???

Also, how often in the pro level do you think players get eliminated from bounce shots?
@howtoplaypaintball

It definitely happens! It’s just the importance of knowing about the bounce shot and knowing how to survive.
