For the rain drop lines, you could probably utilize a super fine marker pen (I know it works great on 28mm figures for eyes) - the difference between black and the german camo dark green probably wouldn't be noticeable.

Matte varnish gives it the perfect finish, it looks so much better dulled down, I'll be giving this a try on a couple of German figures I have waiting to be painted. Really nice video thank you

I am having trouble finding paints in my local area. Besides Amazon, where do you purchase your paints? Shipping 💲 are a killer 😮 Thanks for any help.

What did the Allied forces call the German army as it retreated at the end of WWII? A receding herr line.

Hi Hank, what do you recommend? a primer from a can like the Vallejo black primer spray, or a primer used with an airbrush? In addition, another question that has nothing to do with this video, what color do you use for your Sherman tanks? Thanks in advance and keep up the good work making super interesting videos

gah! day late and a dollar short! I just finished a 1:16 scale Tamiya German winter infantryman using this pattern! You made it look way way more easier than the box art did! lol He looks ok, but man, now I'll have to get another one and try out YOUR technique!! Thx for the uniform tutorials- they are REALLY helping with my figure painting!! very much appreciated!

Might be hard to see, but the splinter goes over all the colors, in authentic Splittertarnmuster. Each color is a separate print, and the last one are the "rain splinters"

Great video which it's important to remember Camo is supposed to be random and errors do exist so makes an exact replica is less realistic then doing it from memory and a refernce.
