Ooh what a wonderful treat to see this, Thsnkyou do much fo4 sharing this with us, just from this small demonstration I learnt so much, especially with how you the the masking fluid, to also give texture to the building. It has solved a problem for me, I will have to watch again and again to try snd catch a couple of the colours you used. I’m in heaven 🙏👩🎨🖌🥰 you are an angel 😇 for doing this and of course it’s appreciated

Thierry would you mind very much telling me the names of a couple of the colours you added to the blues, I caught the burnt umber there were I think two more the one you say is strategic to your work could it be the warm sepia or the raw sepia or more probably the neutral tint, on reflection I’ve just thought of that. I’m going to try using my dip pen for the masking fluid especially when one wants a clean line

@@margaretbrownhill1193 At 1'20'' Thierry uses French Ultramarine Blue, Neutral Tint, Perylene Violet, Burnt Umber, Sepia and Indanthrene Blue At 5'48" he uses French Ultramarine Blue, Neutral Tint, Perylene Violet And at 11'15", Phtalo Blue (Green shade?) + Neutral Tint

Merci, c'était super intéressant de vous voir appliquer toutes ces multicouches de couleur et comprendre toute la stratégie pour atteindre le rendu final. Bravo à la personne qui filme (le fiston ?), big up !! Est-ce que vous vérifiez la photo de référence entre deux couches où vous avez tellement l'habitude que vous en avez pas besoin.

Bonjour monsieur Duval! J'admire votre sensibilité, quand à la lumière, et les textures, mais j'aimerai comprendre vos couleurs pour créer ces blancs/beiges/gris de la pierre (Parisienne et Vénitienne). Bien sûr, je ne parle pas de ce tableau ci, mais d'autres images que j'ai vu par un heureux hasard. Je viens de commencer, cette année, à étudier l'aquarelle, et la subtilité des couleurs m'échappe.
