You can use tack paper and trace the pattern from one side to lay down on the other side to get a perfect matching pattern on both sides. So much of a time saver when laying down patterns.

I wasn’t 100 percent sold on that stripe until I seen it painted and I have to say that thing popped. I don’t really see why it took 8 hours though since he had the benefit of an artist rendering. It must be nice to have the kind of money to have a car like this built. I would estimate around 150k to 175k

Can't say enough good things about Nathan. Does he make a hissing sound when he sleeps? He seems to eat, sleep and breath painting.

This car is really something special. I have a question regarding the removal of the masking. I have been given different information when it comes to when to remove the tape. Should the tape be completely dry, or should it be in some stage of flash, or should it be on the tacky end. I've tried both with quality tapes and had varying levels of success. It really stinks to have lots of work only to mess it up when removing the masking.

@V8TV What product brand do you use after you color sanded it to buff it back up?, was it 3M FASTCUT PLUS??
@thorleyphotography

My experience was that if you minimise the amount of paint applied with your second colour you should be ok. It's when your pains wells up against the vinyl tape that's when your in trouble. Occasionally the vinyl tape would leave glue on your first colour which is probably worse than the tape pulling the second colour. I love V8TV but you got your product placement, showed off your car and held back all the trade secrets

At 5:07 minutes,1 Giant Slab of Billet Aluminum, that could probably make a Whole boeing 747 jetliner, including the Solid Struts Landing gear.

Awesome work, but i do not like the stripe, it doesn't accentuate the curves of the Camaro...it really takes away from it in areas...
