When grinding or cutting with a torch cover all glass with a tarp or cardboard! When you wash the truck without doing so expect your microfiber cloth to snag on the windows from the sparks etching the glass. Please don’t ask me how I know this.

Shits definitely expensive, but its good stuff. I think its like $250-300 for gallon and 2 quarts of hardener. I can try and find my receipt for you if you want. I used about 2 gallons to do the entire frame. But I'm not super experienced with painting and I sprayed it pretty heavy. I did the front and back of the frame at different times as well.

Is it okay to just paint over the brake lines on the inside of the frame?

Those should be fine. Anything rubber might want to be careful with. Of course the paint might not stick to rubber anyways, but better to be safe than sorry.

In my opinion (I could be wrong), you didn't do a good job removing the rust from the frame. I can see, there is still so much rust on the metal frame and you start painting already.
@DreaminDiesel
3 жыл бұрын
I could see how you would think that, but this stuff is actually very similar to por 15 and can be used over rust no problem. I probably did a better job than most professionals that use this haha. Just make sure the surface is clean and all the loose stuff and scale is off and you're good to go!
