Would be helpful to have list of paints the glare makes reading kinda tough. I did not mean that to sound ‘snarky’ it was not intended to . I’m currently doing some figure painting and find the video helpful and really want to learn.

Great work and style. My method is apply the washes with a paint brush then dab it with a sponge. I add the red speckle afterwards. I also us silly putty on the hair to prevent overspray. I will try your technique. Thanks for sharing.

Interesting technique. I've never seen the splatter style before. Seems to be pretty effective. Thanks for sharing!

Thanks! It's nothing new and has been done by many artists that paint larger scale heads. I'm just applying it to smaller scale which I wanted to show for those that paint 1/12 scale stuff.

Thanks for that! I just started doing custom 3.75" Star Wars. Before that it was game miniatures. Love the quality of your videos. Very clear and easy to follow.

I've seen it done before on larger scale busts/statues. Figured why wouldn't work on small stuff. :)

The music is not helpful at all. You don't need to create tension, we're already painting a 1" face. And a list of products used would be great.

About as "ultra real" as you can get with citadel paints lol. Tarkin looks like he fell into a puddle of mud.
