In this video I show you how to cook Paksiw na Tilapia or Tilapia that is cooked and simmered in vinegar.
The aroma of ginger and other spices makes this recipe so delicious and can be paired with rice or have it by itself.
Paksiw Na Tilapia
Ingredients:
2 medium Tilapia
1 small onion
3 cloves garlic
3 thumbs Ginger
¼ cup Soy Sauce
¼ cup Water
2 tbsp Olive oil
1 tsp Peppercorn
1 tsp Salt
2 tbsp Apple cider vinegar
Instructions:
*Cut the Tilapia in half
*Place the Tilapia in a pot
*Add onion, garlic and ginger
*Add soy sauce, water, olive oil, peppercorn and salt
*Turn the stove on medium heat and cover until boiling
*After boiling, turn the stove to low heat
*Simmer for 25 minutes
*After 25 minutes, add apple cider vinegar
*Cover and simmer for another 5 minutes
*Set aside and wait for 10 minutes before serving
*Enjoy!
