I started a warehouse job in UK, nobody gave me pump truck training so I have to watch these videos. They want me to use it.

That sounds illegal a.f . If you. Crash the employer will put blame on you. I recommend you find a private company and get certified off them

I use one 5 days a week for 8hrs+. Matter of a fact I just got mine repaired and got new parts. We use Raymond. I got a new horn and new acceleration handles on mine, Thursday. Our mechanic doesn't govern them for night shift users since we have a certain pull rate to abide by. I've got (arguably) the fastest one in our warehouse. It's claimed to go 18mph. Day shift gets the shaft. They only get about 8-9mph.

Trying to get a job operating one of those. I'm new at those pallet jacks and forklifts. BUT most jobs require at least a year of experience. How do we get a year experience anyway??

Whoever said warehouse pay sucks i started at $14 an hour with benefits 3 months ago i make $22 an hour now monday to thursday with friday saturday sunday off there's a guy at my job he's a selector if you know what that is he makes $100,000 a year whereas when you start off on the job you're making $30,000 a year and it's because he's incentive meaning the harder he works the more money he make he just bought a house in full no payments and a $35,000 car oh and he is 25 if you get into the right places they pay very well a lot of room for growth I know a lot of guys that I work with trainers who started off hourly as back haulers two years after that they were as a trainer and in two more years they were supervisor guys with no college or anything
