each person who hates this character hates her for the same reason she hates herself- she is flawed. people do not expect to see raw characters, nor do they want them; especially in a comedy. she is the truest form of everyone, she has insecurities, bad days, and gets stuck in the lifestyle she created, just like all of us. the world needs a little more pam beesly, and a little less hate.

i love this comment so much i had to pin it! people tend to hate on pam for being... human. for being insecure of herself. for trying and failing. that’s exactly why i love her though, cause she’s a character you can actually relate to. and she gives you hope that if she was able to learn how to love herself and fight her battles to become a happier person then all of us can too. thank you for this, i couldn’t have expressed myself better 💗

This is why the US Office is superior to the original. Gervais is a great writer but he's very one dimensional...maybe 1.5 dimensional. Pam is so incredibily genuine and the most loyal and supportive character in The Office! When she was at Art School, she gave up on her dream because she was missing Jim so badly and she understood that their relationship was going through a hard time. When Michael was leaving The Office, she runs to the AirPort to say goodbye to him. You can see in so many moments how supportive and caring she was with Dwight, for example, on the episode when they were working in the bus, she was worried about Dwight and she asks Jim to go talk to him and that’s the moment that Dwight opens up with Jim and tell him that he is infertile. Omg this has tho be the most powerful edit I have seen about The Office and especially about Pam. Also as a receptionist myself I would like to add that her character (that this video enlightened) is incredibly realistic and honest. Being the sweet young girl doing a lame job and feeling like the others in the office don’t even sees you at time, like you don’t matter or not as much as the others, going through very hard stuff but still trying to keep it together because that’s your job. But then…then growing, changing, evolving, people believing in you, discovering yourself and that you are a lot more capable than you thought or that anybody thought. Being brave, strong and finally believing in yourself. And people loving you sincerely because of who you are not because of your job title. Yes thank you for showing that. And thank you for the character of Pam.

She really made me realize that no matter how badly you feel, and no matter how many times your heart gets broken.. keep going, keep chasing the man you love, keep chasing the dreams you want, keep chasing what makes you happy and one day you will get it.. I’m so proud of the character she came out to be.. nobody else could have done this better.. ❤️

I love Pam‘s character. She is wholesome and kind to others. I can’t relate when people say she is boring

I love how we get to see how great pam's story is, when she is just a normal girl working at a company called Dunder Mifflin in Scranton. What makes her story so amazing is because her life is so ordinary.

Isn’t it strange how there’s thousands of people like Pam and since they don’t have a TV show, we’ll never know how cool they are??

This is the best Pam-centric edit I have seen. I cry every time I watch it, mainly because I relate to her a lot. Thank you for this ♥️

I get so angry when I see people hating on Pam. She is so relatable to me, she was scared to stand up for herself, scared to trust herself, to chase after her dreams, and scared to let herself be happy. Watching her growth was so incredible because as I first watched this show I grew with her and now I am 22 and have rewatched it at least 25 times and every single time I rewatch it and rewatch Pam's growth, I continue to grow more and more into a better and stronger version of me. I love her so much. She is easily my favorite character.

Pam has one of the best character arcs in The Office, and she doesn’t get enough credit

Pam was one of the best characters on the office, she was so genuine and real, Jim wasn’t good enough for her, she deserved so much better. He may have loved her but he was emotionally manipulative and wasn’t as supportive of her as she was of him.

2:14 when she says "I won an art contest today" it feels really sad. Like nobody cares for her and she has to enjoy her joy alone
@beeslyedits

yeah! this is from a deleted scene actually. she was very excited to learn that she won the contest so she went to tell everyone but no one seemed to care. then she tells Jim, already expecting that he wouldn’t care like everyone else, and he’s super excited for her 💓 kzitem.info/news/bejne/1K6Ap5d-j6OQnH4
