I use old radio ads in my (shuffled) MP3 playlists (to emulate listening to the radio, Natch.)". 🎶Remember to wear a condom🎶" and "🎶Remember to wipe your Bottom🎶" are absolutely getting added to those! 😂

Yes I do, and I do it by decade, matching the ads to the tunes (within the said decade ) so 60s , 70s, 80s as separate playlists! Great fun! The wild part is the ads and other "audio ephemera" completely enhance the tunes! Meanwhile I totally ignored/hated ads on the radio at the time! @PIXPromosMore

Many of these themes became well known to British listeners, first through pirates like Radio London, Radio England and Britain Radio. Then, when the British Government forced the seasick DJs ashore, the BBC launched Radio 1, which also used PAMS jingles in a transparent attempt to grab the former pirate listeners. Guess what - it worked!
