I feel like I can’t watch one of your videos without commenting. You are just fantastic. Those dumplings look amazing. Everything you cook, I feel like I want to make it. Your recipes are amazing. And what I really like is how you teach how to say things in Chinese, so we could pronounce it correctly in the market or at a restaurant. Your dumplings look amazing! I usually like to add finely chopped nappa cabbage, carrots and celery to mine just because I like to have a good bit of veggies with my protein. I will have to try your version soon.

I used one of them plastic dumpling press cause I struggled pleating the dumplings properly. I love these pot stickers I used to freeze them too. I will try your dipping sauce. 😍🐼⚘

Last night I made some of the homemade chili oil and tonight I made the dumplings. The only deviation I made was substituting pork for the chicken ... otherwise I followed your instructions exactly. Sooooo gooooood!!!! and so easy! It made 28 dumplings for me so I guess I didn't fill mine as much, but they are still super good. I ate 6 this evening and currently have the rest flash freezing so I can put them in a ziplock to have in the freezer. Thank you so much for this recipe ... I am such a happy camper 😊😊😊 PS I meant to add that the amount of vinegar wasn't listed in the dipping sauce ingredients so I just guessed at that.

I usually buy frozen dumplings because in the past when I made them for some reason they'd come apart. The wrappers I was using were homemade but I can see from watching your video that my technique was bad. As for the filling I can't eat shrimp, lobster, or crab so I usually use ground pork. I am going to have to try your technique for cooking them since in the past I had just been frying or boiling them. As for the dipping sauce I make mine from Seville marmalade which I thin with a little soy sauce and sherry and spice it up with my homemade chilli oil. Since the marmalade is a bit sour I don't add black vinegar. I will have to try your dipping sauce since it looks similar to the sauce that a restaurant in Cambridge, MA called Mary Chung's used with suān là jiǎozi. I used to drop by there for lunch when I worked in Cambridge. They also had great dandan noodle. Love your vids. I've learned a lot from them.

@@ChineseHealthyCook xie Xie 😊 yes my friend at this time last year I had two surgeries to remove a highly malignant brain tumor glioblastoma multiforme located on the right occipital lobe of the brain. In January I also had another surgery and had a VP shunt inserted in behind my right ear. But I remain strong and I fight 💪 and I watch your yummy food videos to keep me going thank you so much again.
