Hi 1p2o3i, Thanks for commenting. You're absolutely right about what increasing the ISO does and that's exactly what I was trying to get at. By increasing the ISO, the shutter speed is also increased automatically by the camera, i.e. faster shutter speed, less time to expose the picture, and as long as it's above about 1/15 or 1/30, one should be able to handhold the camera without a problem. Image stabilization helps compensate for 2 stops of light, but a one second exposure is still too long.

Really good guides all around, LBGuides! Concerning this video you made a mistake at minute 3:20 by saying that setting the ISO to 800/raising the shutter speed lets you "handhold the camera without getting any kind of camera shake". Of course you mean that setting a higher ISO and thus raising the shutter speed decreases exposure time which generally leads to less or no blurr, depending on the steadiness of the photographer. The Image Stabilisation of the lens does not get modified by that.

@noobsyb0t Hi, No the G1 does not shoot video. Both the GH1 and GF1 do, however.
