I trust you because I followed your journey from the GH4 days. I miss those days when you were filming (and playing) with your friends. While those old videos may not as been quite as polished, the fun factor was magical. Love this new camera.

@@Andyax I remember many videos, setting up film scenes in gardens and near the water for example, although the jib crane/painting side of the red house is particularly memorable. In those old videos the feelings of genuine friendships was palpable. I know people move on, so it is nice to treasure those magical moments, and you are more fortunate than most in having those video memories of those times to look back on. I feel privileged that you let us share some of your journey along the way. My family was 350 years in Norway in the Arnes region along the Vorma and Glomma Rivers and now we are in Australia and New Zealand for a hundred years, so far away and yet somehow still connected with Scandinavia. I always look forward to your videos.

First of all, GREAT work !!! And what a relief it is to see a former GH5 user, actually using the new GH6 in the real world, OUTSIDE ! Amazing. Now, two questions... Which card did you use ? 128GB or 256 GB ? And... is it true, (I heard a rumor)...that when you press record, the focus peaking vanishes ?! That never happened to me on the GH5 so, if this happens on the GH6, yikes...I dunno..... lol.

Thank you for the tests. I am somewhat frustrated in general in searching KZitem for various reviews on the GH6, and to see test footage. It seems very few people want to set this camera to its maximum 5.7 and 5.8K open gate resolution and record in ProRes 4:2:2 HQ or H.265 to do their reviews and show the camera's test footage. I, personally have no interest in acquiring a 6K camera, then shooting in 4K resolution all day ! 💁 I see 4K as a delivery resolution, but not an image acquisition format. I thought your pretty model really popped as soon as you went to 5.7K, but then you went back down to 4K again 😳. The Meiki Cine lens looked really great on the GH6. I would love to see an Arri Master Prime or a Fuji Movie Zoom, or a Cooke Movie Prime on the GH6 in 5.8K open gate. I suspect the result would be stunning. 👀👀👀

what's your thoughts to the IBIS. I mean "real cinema cameras" don't have IBIS, because it could influence the image quality and DP wants to have all the control about their cameras themselves. because you cannot turn it off really, because the magnetic elements for the stabilization inside the camera are always moving, even if its turned off. My concern is how much trust you have in the stabilization system? I mean do u fear that it could affect your image in a bad way? or is this again some kind of "there is no perfect camera. And for different situation you take different cams" like one without IBIS? I think IBIS is a lovely thing, but I have to choose between f.e. bmpcc or the Lumix cams, than you have pure image quality against a lot more features and better build body, but with this IBIS that COULD affect your image. I was shooting my entire life without IBIS and I hate micro shitters, I already shoot with Bmpcc and with a heavy rig or shoulder rig f.e. its okay. But IBIS was always my "next step" till I realized that "real cinema cameras" like ARRIs or REDs don't have one and that I should maybe start from the beginning to work without when I want to work that type of cameras in the future.

I prefer the A1 footage to be honest. Only thing I like about the GH6 is the 10-25 f1.7 lens. It just happens to be the focal range I use the most (20-50mm full frame) - plus I generally shoot at f3.5 for my work. So this lens is a perfect for me. If Sony/Canon/Nikon offered that I choose those brands because of the AF.

When I heared I don't shoot with autofocus so I stopped inmediatly. Then you don't know what to look when using AF. The hunting with out of focus light proved the pulsing that all vloging You Tubers has problems with. If you have an focus puller everytiime then the AF is not a problem, but those having focus puller have enough money to buy a €20.000 Cinema Camera. Those who complain are one man shop, who buys camera's around €2000, - . Manual focus people have enogh money to buy above €5000 camera. Problem with you and Panasonic does not understand this. Panasonic need to say that this camera, around €2000,- which most one man shop are the market, is not suitable. This Lumix GH6 will not sell well. Good companies knows who are buying their camera. People buying around €2000,- camera need good relaible AF. RIP Lumix DFD (Death by Defocused). After 5 years developing this camera Panasonic said they knew AF will be so improtant. Hahahahaha.

Hi from the UK, bought a GH4 a month ago. Previously a couple of years ago the GH3. Rigging it with cage, shoulder rig, Atomos Ninja V at the moment. Next purchase a camera mountable field recorder and shotgun mic. Have a couple of camera mountable LED panels and a halogen daylight mini light. Better lights will have to be a later purchase with some second hand C stands. Love the videos. Subscribed a few months ago, then scrolled through your vids and was shocked about Eskild. Keep up the good work. By the way as I was in the photography store the Panasonic guy was really selling me on the GH6, but I resisted and will wait till it comes up second hand in a few years, what with my Ninja V and a GH6 4K 120fps RAW. But I was nearly swayed on swopping the lot for a Blackmagic 6K Pro, but that means changing all my lenses, no use getting a speedbooster for M4/3rds lenses to fit a Canon EF mount.

praising this camera is just nonsensensical unless your are paid by panasonic.. this sensor format is long gone.. i compare it with my old a7iii and i prefer my footage all the way.. so why panasonic just not go for the real ace they got ? S5 on steroids.. that is the camera we all want, bring the same capabilities of the gh6 on that camera and we will all buy it.. i guess somebody in their headquarters is just willing to let sony and canon won the battle.. panasonic is in it's lowest... they have already made some terrible disaster like S1 and S1r .. the S1h is just the way to go .. and they have just made the mistake of not doing slowmo in full sensor size.. and focus.. so what is it with them.. ? I guess is just about management they have such an amazing tech history.. i don't get it.. and this camera has only one real appealing thing and that is the price.. but as for quality of image .. mostly i have seen not so interesting in color or detail.. even the old 8 bit from sony full frame beats it.. come on...
