Dear Mr.(Elemental) Williams, I was very informed after watching your very nice, instructive, and down to earth overview of this beard trimmer I just bought. You’ve saved us all time by showing how all the parts work and - where applicable - they come apart. It’s a great kindness to take the time to spare us the frustrations of trying to discern the tiny print of the directions, and then also impart your wisdom. Much peace to you and yours!

Thanks for a very good review. I bought this trimmer as my 15 year old babyliss clipper died on me. The great thing about this trimmer is the body hair comb, or as I call it, the “Nakasaki” comb. I can confidently trim my intimate parts without the worry of nicking myself. It also does a really good job of both trimming my beard and cutting my hair. Yes it’s expensive, but I think it’s definitely money well spent

If you didn't had any hair clippers, what would you buy between this and Andis US PRO, considering this is 5 pounds more than Andis on Amazon.
@Olutunu
7 жыл бұрын
To be honest I have never used the Andis UsPro clippers. Yo Raul, it depends on what you need them for mostly. If just trying to trim your hair then I would go the Panasonic ER GB-80. However, if you are trying to give yourself a haircut and a trim up I would go with the Andis UsPro. Also to keep in mind the Andis UsPro has a cord that can be plugged into the wall so I am assuming that you would get more power than using the Panasonic Hair Trimmer (You can use the ER GB-80 while it's plugged in also) The Andis UsPro also has it own set of guards even though they are not as diverse as the ER GB-80. Please, remember this is just an assumption! Before you decide to make any purchase do as much research as you can on both devices before you buy them. You are the one who will be using them! I wish you all the best... Good Shopping!
@yoraul5157
7 жыл бұрын
Thanks for your reply. I will use my new clipper to often fade my own hair(sides and back) as the top I will cut it to a barber shop and also for beard trim. US PRO has the advantage that can be adjusted from 0.5 to 2.4 mm without guard attached and I think this will give more control while Panasonic is very easy to clean. US PRO every time you take the blade off to clean it, you have to Zero Gap it and that scares me a bit as I don't feel very confident in doing that. So as you see is hard to decide.

I tried the Brio. Overkill for just keeping stubble. I just picked up this trimmer. It’s not bad for stubble. I used the 1 and 1.5mm settings. The slide-up precision trimmer is a nice feature. I have the Conair Super Stubble trimmer. It has a flip back guard instead of a detachable guard, which is very convenient. Additionally, it has setting in increments of .2, which is a nice for keeping stubble at varying lengths. Sorry for the late reply I’m just now seeing this. I would say go for a trimmer or edger other than this. This is an OK device for someone with thin hair. However, someone like me who’s hair is very course this would not work for me. As a matter of fact this is just good for trimming. If your hair is extremely long and you try to cut using this hair trimmer the hair gets clogged up in the device with each pass. Which is very time consuming! Is this really heavy meterial i bought braun so plastic and cheap metarial
@Olutunu
3 жыл бұрын
Nope, this is plastic just like most electric razors. I can understand how you feel and I don't blame you for it. But we also must remember that if these products were made of quality steel they would be too heavy for us to use and there would be complaints about that as well and also how quick the steel heated up. Just remember to take care of your device as best you can.

I don't think so... With the black hair trimmer guard I believe it goes to . 5 or lower (I don't the specs in front of me LOL) It does a great job cutting excess hair off to almost nothing.

I hope you've had great success using this over a period of time. I feel that this hair trimmer works good on small & medium sized beards. Any beard that is over 20mm wouldn't be able to use this trimmer. It also works well on body hair as well. So for the late reply I hadn't seen this comment.

The precision trimmer can't be removed. It merely moves up so that you can use it and then you just retract in back into position. I hope that helps

what is the best beard trimmer for under 60 EURO ??
@Olutunu
5 жыл бұрын
Unfortunately it's really hard to say! There's so many beard trimmers out there with cons and pros to them all. I have to say that using this beard trimmer for a few years it does hold up very well. It also works while it's plugged in charging. This trimmer has also dropped in price over the years. You may be able to purchase this for about $60 now. I wish you the best of luck

Hey what beard trimmer would you recommend now?
@Olutunu
8 ай бұрын
that's a great question. I have been using the Brio Beardscape V.2 which is a great trimmer just make sure you follow the instructions. I recently picked up ( just a week ago ) the Phillips Norelco, One Blade Pro and I have to say that I really like it. It's a trimmer but acts as like a razor. Check some videos here on KZitem about. I may to one once I use it a bit more.

@@Olutunu when you say follow the instructions, what specifically about them?
@Olutunu
8 ай бұрын
@@BobRoss-wm3lc there is nothing specific about the instructions. This is something we should all do with the products we purchase. I have noticed many times that people will pick up a device and will be anxious to use it, however, they never read the instructions so they use a product/device for years without knowing all of its features. I don't want this to happen to anyone.

I have the exact same trimmer with the exact attachments and everything. It sells in my market as ER GB 75 S and Made in Japan. I think due to some voltage issues. I got it for a deal at 81$ with a Panasonic Dual Blade Shaver free! I am happy with it. The only thing that was weird adjusting to was the oiling part because my previous Philips Norelco trimmer didn't need any oiling. I thought it was for heat dissipation and lubrication? Now I know why my hair gets pulled when I use it without oiling! lol Thanks for the review.
