A South African dish to try would be a bunny chow. A bunny chow is traditionally South African dish (especially to a city called Durban). It is a curry in half/a quarter loaf of a bread. This was inspired by Indian workers (indentured workers on sugar cane plantations in the mid 1800s and early 1900s). A Cape Malay curry would also be yummy!

@@MsSneaky0815 I can't cite any studies that say that one can't and I am not a doctor; I do, though, notice that my Hashimotos symptoms are much more manageable when I avoid gluten. @MsSneaky0815 it is often recommended to those living with an autoimmune disease to cut back on gluten consumption because gluten is a known inflammatory ingredient just as dairy is. My rheumatoid arthritis has been so much more manageable since I switched to a vegan diet so much so that I have been able to go to the gym. I was exempted from PE class growing up because I was constantly having flare-ups.
