(Chicken Egg Rolls Recipe)
For Chicken
1 Pack Egg Roll Wrappers
1lb Ground Chicken
2 tsp Olive Oil
1 tsp Ginger
2 tsp Garlic
1/4 Cup Onion (Grated or finely chopped)
1 tsp Kosher Salt (or to taste)
1/2 White Pepper (or to taste)
(For Coleslaw Mix)
1-2 Cups Coleslaw Mix
1-2 Tbsp Soy Sauce
1-2 tsp Sweet Chili Sauce
1/2 tsp Kosher Salt (or to taste)
1/4 tsp White Pepper (or to taste)
*Fry in vegetable oil at 350°F for 3-5 minutes or until golden brown.
**Let the egg rolls drain and cool for a few minutes before eating as they will be hot on the inside.
*As a substitute for the eggwash, mix 1 Tbsp cornstarch with 3 Tbsp water.
*If you desire to bake the egg rolls, lightly coat egg rolls with cooking spray or vegetable oil and bake in a preheated 425°F oven for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
