Paneer Burfi
Preparation Time: 10 minutes
Cooking Time: 10 minutes
Makes:
Ingredients:
250 g Paneer
½ cup Sugar
½ cup Milk Powder
½ tsp Green Cardamom Powder
Chopped Nuts to Garnish
Method:
Break Paneer into small Pieces and run in the mixie to crumble it.
Add the paneer to a pan, add the sugar and cook on medium high heat stirring continuously.
The mixture will turn into a paste and then as the water dries up, it will acquire a grainy texture.
Add the milk powder and mix well. Cook till the mixture leaves the sides of the pan.
Add in the ilaichi powder and remove from fire.
Spread in a greased tray and garnish with the chopped nuts.
Allow to cool for 2 hours and cut into desired shape to serve.
