after the HUGE success of far beyond driven, Pantera were pressured by their record company to make an album with some songs that were more radio-friendly. Much like Metallica, Megadeth and a handful of other "heavy" bands did. Anyways, Pantera responded by making without question the heaviest album of that era. They stopped the trend of heavy bands succumbing to the mainstream bullshit, because there were plenty of bands that fell right in line. After the Trendkill album got released... that trend was dead... that trend was over :) End of fucking story

This song and Suicide Notes pt 2 were the first songs I ever heard by Pantera (randomly on a radio app) that made me OBSESSED with Pantera...I was at work doing construction and I had to stop what I was doing and find out what this song was and NEEDED MORE. I know ever Pantera song now, know most of the stories, have listened to countless bootleg shows filmed or professional (The few), watched the backstage shows...This band is TIMELESS. I was born in the wrong era...HOWEVER, I get to watch ALL of the bootleg shows, interviews, backstage shit, etc for free on KZitem and fans during their time didn't, none is compared to seeing them live however I'm told and I firmly believe.
