Paper bead fix - In response to my video about how to create smart gold tips on your paper beads, a viewer called Caroline asked how to stop the corners at the thicker end of the strips from poking out of the finished beads.
So thank you for that question Caroline because it is an annoying problem that stems from an uneven start to the rolling process - an issue I still get after 40 plus years of rolling!
I must admit, when you use my gold tape technique to get pretty gold tips on your paper beads, it is even harder to start rolling the strip evenly.
You really think you've got it, and then there it is, that corner sticking out after you have rolled!
So I made this very quick video today to suggest three things you can do. The first one is to prevent the issue from happening and the other two are fixes you can do if you have already rolled the beads.
The second trick will only work with beads that do not have gold tape on them but the third one works very well with beads tipped with gold tape.
So if you need a paper bead fix - watch this video.
