Love the baking paper idea. But I think I would use vellum in some cases, then it’s a two-fer!!

Thanks for watching & your comments. My die-release paper I used is lovely & delicate to use as a two-for also.🥰 The point of baking paper / die release paper is that it’s non-stick which is why the die cut releases so easily. The vellum might end up being another layer you have to poke out of the die - but worth a try! 😉

I started turning die sandwich upside down and rotating and flipping, it keeps cutting plate flat! You can also see if it completely cut out image before removing. Great tip!

I use the throwing the die onto a hard surface to release the cardstock technique too. I find it works best if the die is facing down and I think that's when yours released because it wasn't working cardstock down. It's messy but takes less time to clean up than poke every little bit out. If there are still pieces stuck I flick the card with my fingers and this helps to get the stubborn pieces out ❤

I don’t throw my die down but I do hit the edge of the die on a hard surface (like edge of cardboard box or book) to release the paper and it usually works on the first try. Tfs

Hi Jackie. I love my Stampin’ Up! SCEM machines (big & mini one)!! Heaps better than my old Big Shot. Another lady - Gina - also commented that she finds it works better to throw with the die is facing down rather than cardstock so maybe try that.😉 Thanks for watching & commenting. 😊

For dies that are difficult to get out of the die i use blu tack. I live in England so dont know what you have. Its a way of putting up posters without permanent adhesive x

@stampinwithlinny

Hi @@priscillabade614. Thanks for watching & commenting. Just be careful using wax paper - it leaves a film of wax on your dies which builds up on the cutting edge of your die which you don’t want. 😉 For that reason parchment/baking paper is a better choice.
