As close to perfection as it gets! Wonderful composition, arrangement, and playing.

I always marvel at how an island as small as Cuba has so many extraordinary musicians. Paquito D'Rivera, Chucho Valdes, Arturo Sandoval, Francisco Aguabella, and the list goes on and on....

Despite Fidel's jazz prohibition it tooks a great impulse in cubans musicians who was influenced by it in order to its freedom of performance mixed with the roots of popular music. : They are talented, study very hard and play continously: that is their secret to be so good as they are.

Along with the others listed (Dizzy Atmosphere, Manteca, and Hot House) at 4:04 we have a hidden Rhythm a Ning quote. I love Paquito's music because the deeper you listen, the deeper it gets. It's like a world which can never be fully explored and exhausted. I had the enormous pleasure of seeing him perform live and meeting him a few weeks ago, and every phrase he played that day just keeps replaying in my mind and inspiring just as much awe every time. I hope everyone can have a similarly experience magical listening to Paquito D'Rivera's playing. ( ^_^)
