It's time for me to build my first crypto mining rig, and to save some money I decided to take a chance and buy a power supply from Parallel Miner's to save some money on the build. This power supply is a used HP 1200 Watt server power supply and Parallel Miner's own breakout board that not only has the required 6 pin PCIE connectors, but also has a 180 watt max PicoPSU built into breakout board. This saves you from either wasting power from running a second atx power supply just to power the motherboard and ssd drive, or also cuts down on the amount of wires everywhere if you bought a PicoPSU separately.
This power supply can run on 120V or 240V, but at 120V it's limited to 900 Watts output and the cooling fan will ramp up very quickly. On 240V you can use the full 1200 watts and the cooling fan runs much more quietly.
