We went back to Stoke Mandeville rehab centre to return the wheelchair we had been borrowing from them and got to demo a hands-free wheelchair segway while we were there - the ogo (or omeo as they have now re-branded) which is made in New Zealand. We also played some wheelchair sports while we were there including wheelchair rugby and wheelchair rounders which we had not tried before.
Check out their website if you want to demo it yourself:

We (Craig and Claire) return home and attempt to go back to normal life 6 months after a cycling accident that left Craig paralysed from the chest down and reliant on a wheelchair. Join us as we learn what it's like to live with a spinal cord injury, discover the challenges wheelchair users have to face and overcome and search for wheelchair accessible hotspots. We want to show you how much paraplegics can still do and that there is life after paralysis!
