I had a copy of that book when I was in college. It’s really good and was very interesting. Sad to say that a friend borrowed it and she never gave it back.

I believe I have this parasite or something similar. I'm getting these small cysts on my body and I see them moving in the cysts but the doctor at the ER acted like I'm crazy . I'm scared to go to sleep at night because I'm afraid this is going to kill me

Unbelievable. I have a photo of diphyllobothrium from my microscope with the hooklets.

Wow, I never knew about hooklets in D.latum. I think I'll research it further. As a medtech, I've seen a fair share of those but never spotted any hooklets. Taenia, H.nana, H.diminuta, Dipylidium - plenty. But D.latum ? 🤯

Very educational... Also, gentleman looked pretty displeased to have his B12 threatened like that...I wonder...Lab derived D. latum is used for self treatment sometimes.

This is not a Jewish recipe but Yiddish, meaning it came from Ashkenazi Jews, which call themselves Jews. The real name is "Gefuellter Fisch" (this is German) which means stuffed fish. Rev. 3:9
