The problem is that Haiti does not have a strong government with integrity. A project like this is welcome; however, it should not produce negative impact on the environment. It is not only about shipping producing and shipping stuffs overseas, the companies must also invest in the community--building infrastructures, schools, hospitals and decent housing for the community; otherwise, this will be a disaster. Please do not exploit those poor and more importantly: no sweat shops please!

This is the best thing that had ever happened in my poor country....all those dumb that are talking about cheap price..chase your mouth and try to make up your mind. cause when you have gotten to where you are now, you didn't have job. You were thought over the holly opportunity for some companies that never paid the fair salary. When a company go to india, dominican rep, thailand, Bolivia ect. it negociated to start with the lowest price possible. Someone suppose to start waking haiti up anyway.

3*Haiti and Haitians are one of the few African descendants that fought the system of Western White Jewish (Khazar) domination They have paid and still are paying for this France, US and Canada and their Alphabet Gangs IMF CIA UN WTO etc in their concerted effort have brought Haiti to its knees, with gunboat diplomacy in 19th and 20th century, billions to France to compensate for the so-called lost of slaves after independence 1804 until 1963, dumping of very cheap rice on Haitian markets
