Why the 161mtr headshot not taken at the right POI spot on the reticle??? ..it is higher than the spotting POI

Hi mate, the reason is that there was a software bug that has been fixed. The screen in the scope shows the correct hold over but when you export the video it would change the scale of the reticle causing the hold over to not be where it was. Hope that makes sense? Pard provided a software update to fix the issue .

If I change the battery while hunting will I have to reinstall the parameter information and rezero? Will changing the battery reset all that I have inputted? My DS35-70 lrf has a very grainy image while looking thru the scope. How do i get a clear image while looking thru the scope. I have not found anything on getting a clear image.

Hey mate, yes you can safely change batteries, all the settings will continue to be saved even when restarting, just ensure you turn the unit off properly before changing batteries. In terms of not seeing enough or grainy images, this is probably due to the fact that the IR light is not turned on or aligned properly with the reticle. Check in the settings and ensure the IR light is turned on and that the scope is set to night mode. Hope that resolved the issue. Baz

lastly, ensure that you adjust the objective and eye piece focus to focus the image.

@@AustralianSportingAgencies the grainy resolution is during the daytime. And if I zoom in it is almost unable to make out a image.

Hey @@bamoore65 that does not sound right at all. I suggest getting in touch with your local dealer to get him to check the issue and potentially replace or repair the unit. Good luck

"never miss a shot again"....don't make me laugh ...get real.....all this will do is just encourage those shooters with no moral ethics (there's plenty out there) to pot shot at animals way past ethical ranges!....doesn't matter how good the system is the shooter has still got to do his thing correctly and accurately!

Totally agree, I guess that's the difference between marketing and real life.

That's where shot placement should be confirmed and calculations dialed in at different ranges. Those shooters will have a crack anyway, the difference with this is that they'll be able to do it with greater accuracy if they've entered the BC correctly.
