Bruce out on one of his Permissions with the PARD008LRF (kindly provided by Djure of PARD Europe) demonstrating two different IR lasers, namely the N1000 (100mW) IR Laser Pointer / Illuminator from TheNightVision Store: www.nightvisionstore.co.uk/n10... and the Syrius XTL VCSEL IR Laser (with central diffuser and 42mm lens) by Ian Sorril of IR Light Builds from / ir.light.builds and Blackwood-Outdoors: www.blackwoodoutdoors.co.uk/n...
Note: Audio interference (e.g. using LRF) is not audible while using the PARD008LRF, only on recordings.
His tips are:
1. To direct stronger add-on IR at the mid-to-upper area of your eyepiece view, if flora (grass or bushes) in the foreground causes whiteout, leading to the distant view being lost / blacked-out.
2. Additional IR is not required with the PARD008 or 008LRF out to airgun / FAC Airgun / Rimfire ranges (better to carry a spare 18650 battery or two for the PARD instead).
