@@France_Table_Voyage I honestly can’t say that I recommend doing that any time in this lifetime. After hurricane Katrina The French Quarter had changed, and not for the better in my opinion. It seemed to have lost it’s French flair and essence. The rest of New Orleans was still interesting thou, and now this resent hurricane. Idk 🤷♀️

Souvent des gâteaux à la crème et aux fruits mais excellent aussi, on en mangerait chaque jour à 16h en attendant le retour du père de la maison .de son travail. Bonne pâtisserie mais plus lourde ,faisant grossir je pense.

I would not have purchased anything in that ham shop. That proprietor did not have gloves on nor was he wearing a mask. It didn’t seem hygienic for him to collect the sliced ham and cheese from the slicer on to his hand or the board. He should have had some kind of disposable paper to catch the cut meat and cheese. It might be a great pork store but the safety of the customers buying food there seems risky.

So risky that, as everybody well knows, anyone going to that shop ends up to hospital 😂 Come on… Stop with the plastic gloves. If you don't change them every time you touch something different, they are not safer than clean hands. Do you often see people changing their gloves ? No. Because, as you, they think that it is safe. So they don't wash their hands, and they don't change their gloves. Plastic is a plague for the earth. The planet is dying from plastic. Customers are claiming for "health" but pollution seems not to be a problem 🙂 Well… Why not.
11:55 Ce serait merveilleux si le jeune homme portait des gants en plastique pour toucher la nourriture. It would have been wonderful if the young gentleman was wearing plastic gloves to touch the food.

We have a saying in Chinese : "不干不淨, 吃了没病". I tried to find the closest translation by searching online; something like this seemed appropriate, "a little dirt never killed anybody" or "a couple of germs won't do you any harm." This proverb is very often spoken in our daily lives. Hahaha, enjoy the delicious delicacy!😀

He said, it's part of french charm. hygiene restrictions are strict.if the shop didn't comply with the sanitation rules ,the shop will pay fine, or be closed. Actually french don't care actually, you can see french people with baguettes everyday putting it under their trolleys, eating in the park, sitting on stairways. French people are cool, unlike in east asia where you have to be sitted, étiquettes etc.etc. French don't mind that actually.
