I saw you coming out of Hobble Creek Canyon the other day after finishing my own practice and you gave a wave as you passed by. I coach the XC team at Merit Academy (a Springville charter school) and it's been cool to share your videos with my students and see them get inspired by watching an elite athlete with elite character in their own backyard. Best of luck to you and your teammates, we'll be watching and supporting y'all in Paris!

I wonder if it would be beneficial to just train alone for 4-5 weeks… I understand that it’s good to have other guys pull you along and motivate you, I also think that cumulative experience of running with people who are slightly faster than you can contribute to settling for the 2nd place (when, maybe, just maybe there could be potential for being even faster)… this is more of a rhetorical question… Best of luck to you!
