Plenty of local timber was used by the old timers , nothing tougher than local silver gimlet for instance. Early days there were several local bush rail lines known as “ woodlines” horse and cart and later trains would bring timber in from the surrounding bush to fuel the condensers to make fresh water before the pipeline form Perth was commissioned. They bought timber in for the mines also. Grew up in kalg and spent a lot of time in the bush. Them old underground workings were all still being worked in the 80’s when the superpit was a scattering of smaller pits and owned by two different companies.

I have and I speculated in some. Do you own gold or silver? If you want a balance portfolio of wealth preservers you should. What are central banks of every country going to do with their gold if Bircoin replaces it? Central banks don't own silver same as Bitcoin. It is a commodity and a monetary unit that is for the common man. There are still plenty of people that dont have a clue about crypto and dont understand its value. Bitcoin is very easy to understand.
