These buns are easy to make and always come out tender. Traditionally they are served at 9 course Chinese dinners with Peking duck skin slathered with hoi sin sauce and green onion. You can also eat them with kau yuk, any braised meat or even cold cuts and eat like a sandwich. They are so delicious and light. Some restaurants sell the bau buns but they are very expensive. You can freeze the buns for a later date so you always have it ready to eat. They can be steamed or microwaved.
