A small question: why on earth did you attach the nozzle for the vacuum when all the dust is flying everywhere!!!

Hi, i want to buy this router. I have some questions before i buy it. Do you still have this router? Do you still love it? Does it still work good? Does it heat up? Hope to hear from you soon. Many thanks in advance

Thanks for the review! However, never take a deeper cut than the width of the bit. Your bits and machine will last longer, and it is much safer.

I was actually looking at this yesterday at lidl, but I told myself I don’t do enough woodworking to justify buying this, plus I’m short of space atm too.

How can it be so cheap and include bits. Amazing honestly. It’s literally cheaper than ordering small ones from China

You don't EVER take a 6mm bit and dive it full depth into the wood. That's why the router bogged down.Do some research on stuff before making yourself look dumb like this in future.

I was shopping with my wife in Lidl and saw this. Asked my self how good can this be for $20.00. First impression right out of the box nice feel and build quality.

Mine only accepts 6mm or 8mm bits
@VictorZucchini

It’s only for 6mm and 8mm. And you should never try to brute force 1/4” into 6mm. It’s not safe. Plenty of shops on Google sell 6mm bits and 8mm bit. No need to go imperial.

Can it somehow work with 1/4 bits? These are +-6,35 mm...
@garykent7546

Yes It comes with an adaptor to use 1/4" bits

Technically it comes with 6mm adapter which is not 6.35mm but i tried it and it can work although its a snug fit and needs some brute force to add milling bit.

@@EarlHickeyJryou shouldn’t do that I read. After you forced 1/4” into 6mm, you should be very vary of how safe it will be on the 6mm. Also everyone (and I’ve heard and read many opinions from professionals), everyone said you should not force 1/4” into 6mm. Router bit flying out mid work would be deadly.

You're over stressing it. You shouldn't try to take so much off in one pass. This compromises the quality of the finnish and doesn't do the router or cutter much good either.

The problem I think is with the scrap wood he used. The guide was moving on a uneven surface

It was because you can't take a full depth cut at once, especially with a narrow bit. The machine struggles and moves
@Gilgamesh_King_Of_Uruk
Жыл бұрын
Cutting too much and too fast at once, also when it starts the machine has quite the power so you'll start a bit crooked, specially since only half of it is sliding in the plank so it isn't perfectly leveled. The guide also isn't that nice, it's probably more accurate to slide the machine against a piece of lumber clamped over the one you're cutting.

When you make a review video it's best to review all the components. If you don't know how it means you are not qualified to do reviw videos
