Naxos is our favorite island to visit. Unfortunately not able to go last year or this year. Hopefully next year. There is lots of stuff around the island to do and see but you need to rent a 4 wheeler. Lots of caves, mines, old abandoned castles and sites and some of the most beautiful drives around the north side of the island through the mountains overlooking the ocean. Rent an ATV not a car as it fits everywhere and you can see everything. Great island to just explore for a week but if you are on foot not so much. Also for tracking your ferry I use vessel finder or marine traffic apps so I know exactly where the ship is.

We went to paros in 2017, and weve loved this island so much. The small town noussa on the opposite of parikia is just beatiful to have dinner on the harbour

The Greek islands are so beautiful with the blue water and white buildings!! You have explored so much this year, it's awesome! Glad for the warning, on the chaos involving the ferries...

Thanks for the video. Might I suggest less choppy footage of streets and food and less face time and more footage of the scene around you. This would definitely increase the quality of the video. Good luck!

Hey! Thanks for the feedback I really appreciate it. This was a tricky video because most of the Greek Islands all have similar look of the white buildings with the white painted grout lines and blue bordering. I could have talked more about the streets and provided more footage put when I do more of that people don’t enjoy voice overs so it’s hard to find the perfect balance. Really appreciate you watching and for the feedback!

Yes, good so far but it would help to do more research before you go to these places. Paros is wonderful but you seem to be pretty vague about things, sorry.

Thank you for the video. Can you rent an automatic vehicle on the island 🏝️ of Naxos? Do you need a vehicle or is Naxos mostly walkable?
@JakeMillerDoesTravel

Depends where you stay. Downtown Naxos is extremely walkable but obviously if you want to explore more of the island you’d need to rent something. You are able to rent either cars, atvs, or scooters pretty easily

Thank you for sharing your experience! Loved the video! What time of the year did you guys visit, if this was around July/August, did you find it too hot?
@JakeMillerDoesTravel
2 жыл бұрын
Hey! We went beginning of July. The temperatures were warm but not unbareable. Google says the average temperature is around 80°F (26°C). It did feel a bit warmer and would recommend getting a place with A/C. But we live in a place that sees summer temperatures that can have highs at 120°F ( 48°C) so we were fine with it! Naxos and Paros were pretty flat but places like Mykonos and Santorini have steep hills so walking can get toasty.

For a beginner you put together a slick video with nice shots. To be constructive not critical as I can't speak in public but I didn't enjoy the talking. You didn't seem to have anything informative to say and it seemed you spent no time in either place. So for a viewer this was not that entertaining or useful. But keep up the effort I am sure you will get there.
@JakeMillerDoesTravel

Totally agree. I wish I was able to spend more time in each location and really provide better insight about the islands and everything they had to offer. But, since I didn’t I ended up having to ramble and couldn’t provide the information I tried to do

You really missed out on Naoussa (small port town at the northern coast of Paros) honestly. The 20 minutes drive would have been worth it. :) Parikia really is just the gateway to the rest of the island.

I know. We took the ferry and were there for an awkward amount of time like 4 hours. Like enough to explore some but definitely not the whole island. Gives me all the reasons to go back.
