Parsi Prawn curry
The basic feature of a Parsi lunch is rice, eaten with lentils or a curry. Curry is made with coconut and ras without, with curry usually being thicker than ras. Kachumbar (a salad) accompanies most meals.
Parsi Prawn curry is rich velvety and well balanced in flavour. This recipe is quick and easy perfect for winters, I hope you all like it!!
INGREDIENTS ;
400 gm prawns
1 onion finely chopped
6-7 dry red chillies
4-6 cloves of garlic
1 tablespoon coriander seeds
1 tablespoon grated coconut
water as required
1 cup fresh coconut milk(optional)
1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
juice of one lemon
2 tablespoon oil/ghee
Coriander leaves for garnish
serve it with hot steam rice and kachumbar
