Parsons Green Fair in Fulham returned in support of a local charity supporting elderly and isolated individuals within the area on Saturday 6th July.
The Fair saw a range of stores, fairground rides and performances from children in local schools to raise money for Fulham Good Neighbours, a voluntary service that helps individuals with food delivery, gardening as well as running social clubs for isolated individuals.
Fulham Good Neighbours Chief Executive Flora Taylor said about the day: “The fair is run for local people for a local charity across different generations and communities into one day.
“It is great fun, there are lovely food stands and everyone just comes out and has a marvelous time.”
“The money goes to older and isolated people who value the support that we can give them through our services and it will enable us to work with a greater number of people.”
The fair saw a mini-animal farm as well as a chemist who makes organic healing products and also saw an appearance from newly-elected Chelsea and Fulham MP Ben Coleman.
Coleman said: “I love this event, you have so many people here, so many stands, it brings many people together and it is the highlight of the year for many people.”
