Many years ago, this lathe clone was given to me by a friend who no longer had space for it. Coming with only the sanding disc to do functional work. The “Big Joe” did not have any of the chucks for drilling lathing or even attaching a saw. I took it in the hopes of finding the parts that were missing, for many years every attempt to locate the appropriate pieces came to an end. All I knew was that it was a defunct importer and that parts from the original device should fit the clone. Just very recently while disassembling this unit for parts and scrap, I finally had a hit on image recognition. Join me as I attempt to get this ShopSmith clone up and running to its full potential. Many thanks to "My Growth Rings" for the informative videos on maintenance and weak links. Thanks to “The Den of Tools” for his 99 reasons reality check, and “1D10CRACY” counter. I have none of these tools already and little space, so they validated that it was better than nothing for me. @MyGrowthRings
