Wow, thanks for enlightening us! It's becoming harder to tell rubbers these days. Even "same" ones, I experienced these on most cheaper rubbers.

I bought the same rubber in 1.8 on one side and max (2.3?) on the other side. I cannot tell the difference at all, even the re-bounce speed feels the same.

How is it possible to observe a 20% weight difference between 2 sheets whose thickness difference et 10% ( 2.2 versus 2.0)? (This hints possible variations in nature or gluing or quality control...)

HEllo~~~~~~~~~ I just love how you guys do these rubbers!!! btw I have some comments that putting oil on chinese rubbers will make it more takky. Is it true and also is there a chance it will screw the rubber up if i do??

greats videos from Your channel. :) btw, would love seeing Your team dissecting an Andro Shifter or Hexer or equivalent 2 side rubber To see effect of pips arrangement (horizontal? vertical?) behind topsheet. Imho, Andro rubbers quite consistent. ;)

fascinating video-this certainly is what I would expect from most chinese rubbers in terms of quality control

next time buy some rubbers from a brand that actually has a quality control, and compare those, this is rather pointless. Not a single thing here was related to thickness.

***** Well, I appreciate what you are doing, but I agree that any results with these experiments are largely unreliable with this equipment. If you want to test the differences between the sponges, then the tackiness absolutely must be the same for both tests...

72duvla I have to agree... A lot of time was spent making this video, I would have thrown in the extra dough and bought nice rubber. It's not like it's a waste of money, if you play pong you still can use the rubber. Yasaka, Butterfly, Xiom, etc etc would have been a better test. Also rubber that has the same tackiness and same hardness... otherwise this is just a wasted 3 part vid. (yes, I watched all three parts). Tackiness and hardness both play into the testing. You did a fantastic job though scientifically testing the rubbers, but you threw that effort out the window using no-name rubber that are quite different from eachother.
