I'm a lawyer. I just wanted to officially say that this guy is good. Really good. I would hate to take his deposition. You may end up with a suit against him, but he's going to make you work for every bit of it. This deposition could be used to prepare witnesses. Don't answer anything more than what you are asked. Any time you can legitimately say "I don't recall", say it. Don't argue or get upset. Don't agree to the lawyer's definition of anything. Act like you don't care if this goes on for days. It's textbook.

Great video. As we all grow as businessmen or businesswomen it is very important to learn how to protect our properties, our business and our persona from predators or people who wants to make money out of our success. Keeping Self control when answering questions that can get you in trouble in the future it is very important so it 's having a good lawyer on our side even if we think we will not need a lawyer, situations like this can happen any time and any body. Even bringing a beverage and some candies is smart in order to control the anxiety caused for the stress of having such a long, tedious interrogation. Marcus Lemonis is teaching us all a lot through this recording. If we want to be serious in business better be prepared for the unexpected. This is Real Life happening. One thing that is unmistakable in this video: Marcus is 100% in charge of himself and of this deposition at all times in this interview. He knows exactly how much to say and how to say it. He's not being evasive, he's being direct, but he's only answering the minimum truth instead of speculating what he might have been doing or thinking... and that's exactly what he should be doing. He's not there to help this lawyer, he's there to best represent the interests of his company and himself.

Backstory: This lady, Stetler, RV Sales of Broward, is mad at Marcus because Camping World and Mark Bellissimo (Equestrian Show Holdings LLC) after they CW sponsored this event and as a result her business lost its sponsorship spot and also Mark, ESH, served her no trespassing warning letters to stay off all of their property which keeps her from being able to compete or participate in future events at the property. Which she claims was given without any substantiated reason and wasn't given a chance to defend herself. She's arguing for damages because she claims it was done with malicious intent by both parties to negatively affect her company and reputation. Backstory for the Backstory: She claims Marcus and Camping World knew about her company's hardships because recently they bought several RVs at auction that were repossessed from her company for nonpayment and then afterwards took her sponsorship spot at the show. She called and reported to the police and festival runners accusing CW of "stealing her inventory." As a result of her phone calls to the Fl Dept of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles concerning these particular RV permits officers were at the show investigating the permit numbers on the CW RVs that were parked at the show. Also this is what led to Mark Bellissimo banning her from being a sponsor, because she was interfering and trying to stir up problems with one of their sponsors (CW). Palm Beach County Court Case #50-2010-CA-027835.

I do inventory auditing for a living and look at a lot of Rv and many many many other recreational vehicles. It is so sad and so hard for me to see company’s starting to go under and the good people that work their rear ends off to do everything they can to keep their jobs and keep the business afloat. This all just seems to me like a lady that some were along the line messed up with her finance company. Like things got financially tight and instead of paying for units when they are sold/funded and keep the funds to try and fix/help the company or for something in her personal and got flipped head over heals. Just like if some one has. Car payment and you miss that one month and next thing you know it’s out of control and you can’t catch up and you lose your vehicle. Well unlike a normal person with an auto Loan, unless your good with your bank/finance company, it’s hard to work with them to get back on the right track. Well that can be for a loan(on avg) in the amounts of $60-$20k. That’s really just bluntly put chump change for big banks. Well if your a business owner with big banks. These big banks have anywhere from $200k to $1.5million. And that can be ok the lower end. Well with that big of a line of credit and I have seen company’s with as much as a 9% apr. well these big banks will work with the businesses a lot longer, and a lot more, and a lot harder then a normal person, with an auto loan or some other type of loan. All that being said this lady probably was worked with for a very very long time. Especially if she had a good company long before things went bad and reposition’s started happening. Sounds me me like she is really just trying to grab at anything and everything she can to get money and keep from going under, or trying to be able to repay her debts, or keep out of bankruptcy.

After doing some reading, I think GiGi’s fundamental issue with Mark Bellissimo, owner of the Winter Equestrian Festival, is that MB, asked for detailed financial documents for her company under the guise of re-negotiating their business deal. Subsequently, he cut ties with her, and banned her. She lost access to place and rent her RVs to festival attendees. MB also brought in ML/CW as the new festival sponsor. Gigi thinks it was all a ruse to get inside information on her business and leverage it to put her out, also cutting off this revenue to her RV company, which created financial harm to that business, making it ripe for acquisition by a bigger company like ML’s CW. Whew! If true, sleezy, but without a document trail between MB and ML showing they conspired in this way, could be hard to prove. Not that GiGi isn’t correct, just hard to prove.

I sense this comment is sarcasm intended to be funny but for the people that may have misunderstood: Some people sip tea rather than gulp and they took breaks where he likely refilled. As for the memory, he's brilliantly deciding when to say "I don't recall" because recalling would likely cause him trouble in the case.

Don’t let the “I don’t recall” fool you, Marcus is sharp as a tack and a very good person! I love how he gives back to small struggling businesses. A lot of times he pours money into a struggling business just to save the family running it or the employees of that business. Even knowing he probably won’t see any return on his investment. I wish more CEO’s were like him.

Your comment makes no sense. If he says "I don't recall" when he really does recall because he's "sharp as a tack" then that disqualifies him from being a "very good person". It makes him a liar in the eyes of the Court, and the KZitem audience. Marcus's fanbase is strong in these comments, but look at him squirm identifying as an RV dealer! LOL!

We purchased a $25,000 RV from Camping World in Olive Branch Mississippi, 1.5 years later we had a dry rotted tire that caused over $10,000 damage to our RV going down the interstate. After 6 months to repair it at their facility, this is how it was returned back to us. The main inlet water hose was never installed back to the the RV. It was completely missing. No hose to the water tanks. We had water going everywhere!!! All down the side of the RV and water sprayed all inside the RV. All on the fuse panel, cabinet, walls, floor and underpinning. This is not acceptable!😡 I will never buy anything from Camping World again!!!
