That was one of the first shrinking facilitators I covered with a protective coating. I now use EPDM rubber exclusively. It is available at Home Depot, it has a self adhesive and it will conform to any shape depression. It also leaves no residue, with excellent results. It's actually easy once you internalize the rule structure of what and how much the sheet metal can move without damaging it. It is all about leverage, all the tools you use are leverage tools. With more leverage and following the rule of the sheet metal, metal becomes the same as working clay. "Metal is Clay" Learn the rules firs,t and then the tools.
