Atleast the pro will be kind enough not to beat you when you're knocked out, on the streets is a different story you can get attacked by 3 people at once, kicked while on the ground or even have a dude sit on a give you a flurry of punches while you're knocked out. Personally if I had the choice of a douche on the street with a bunch of his friends around to watch, or a pro muay thai fighter who's pissed at me for something I said, I'd take the muay thai fighter any day once I'm out he'll stop and say that's good enough to teach me a lesson and he may even give me a handshake and a compliment hoping I might learn from him and show more respect.

I have actually sparred a professional before, in a gym I used to attend. The fellow was a bantamweight and although I was roughly the same height, I had a far higher level of physical strength and much much bigger natural build. Anyway I hit this lad with a body shot and my hand bounced off his core like I had hit a wall. He obviously went in the offensive and although he wasn't the hardest hitter it sheer technique and timing made his blows devistating. It was an agreed spar, no malice in it at all and was a great lesson

LOL. So true. My dad (like many poor kids in Mexico) was training in a boxing gym as a young teen. The coaches told him - "hey bud... when you get bigger ... [and here my dad was thinking "you're going to be faster, you'll do better combinations, etc.] you're going to get hit harder". He pretty much lost all ambition to box right there, and since he sucked at kicking a ball started hitting the books instead.

Im absolutely no expert but i also feel like it’s that, along with a pattern of head movements to dodge a pattern of punches. Like i said, i enjoy watching boxing and mma but idk 2% of what all goes into it. I feel like if u can get your cardio up and perfect the head movements then you got 80% of it down. When i watch amateur fights i see that they can throw punches just about as hard as the pros. But like u said, lack of endurance and punch dodging is what makes the fights end quicker due to mostly KO’s...from what I’ve seen on youtube. Do boxers have head movement combos like punch combos or is it just spur of the moment? Thanks to whoever answers in advance

Perhaps he is self-deprecating enough to sacrifice his social status, perhaps even his life, to give us all something to ignorantly laugh and be emotionally charged at. Perhaps he is just a really good actor. Nobody knows he's acting, but himself. He puts himself in danger and is the object of scorn to give the audience the illusory sense that real justice DOES happen. Charlie Zelenoff is a Saint. Giving us all hope that bullies and shit-eaters actually pay the consequences of their crimes.

I've practice Judo for about 9 years. When I had yellow belt I participated in what would translate to State Championship(I think?). There was one girl in my group of fighters, the rest of us were boys. The boys were all born in 95-96, she was born in 97 or 98. She got silver. Some years later she went to USA as an exchange student and started wrestling. She won multiple gold medals, mostly against dudes bigger than her. She's a beast and she would beat me up any day.

As an MMA hobbyist I've sparred with some people in the gym who were regional competitors. Video doesn't do justice to how inhumanly strong and powerful someone who trains at fighting as their 9-5 feels to a casual who comes in a few hours a week. They feel like they are made out of stone and you quickly realize there is not a thing you can do to hurt them.
