Doing a great job mate. I would suggest that its well worth the time and money to replace the back stock shock with something better (anything). I've had an easier time restoring my 2005 N, thats for sure. I haven't needed to repaint the frame or drop the motor. Can't wait to see this thing done. G'day from Australia.

Thanks for the reply & nice to see that these videos are beaming around the world. Ive had previous SV's & changed the shock on every one, so will probably go down that route with this one. I hope that your N is sorted.👍

Please don't wrap the exhaust, it always looks terrible after just one wet/muddy ride and then stays that way forever more. Persevere with the acid and use a Scotch Brite pad or even a brillo pad and it will come back.

What were you spraying into the electrical connector blocks Colin ?

It was just some GT85 penetrating spray. There was just a little corrosion on the connections.
